Wolf of the Week: Trenton Nolan

One Student Council member put in extra work for Homecoming.

Homecoming was a week of festivities that concluded with a school dance on Saturday, September 16th. During this week of dress up, fun, and dancing, sophomore Trenton Nolan could be seen participating while simultaneously assisting to make all the activities happen.

The Student Council is in charge of preparing the Homecoming spirit days and dance every year, and each member contributes to make the busy week happen, but Nolan contributed more than most. He showed up both days for homecoming setup and did anything he could to help his fellow students.

Senior Student Counsil Co-presidents Allyson Dutoit and Mallory Ringenberg were extremely grateful for Nolan’s help in decorating on Friday night. He did anything asked of him and kept busy even when no direction was given.

“Trenton proved to be one of the most valuable members of Student Council last week,” Ringenberg said. “He was able to keep up with Allyson and I as we strung lights, transported materials, and blew up balloons. Trenton was crucial to the homecoming dance being as successful as it was.”

Nolan not only helped as a behind the scenes planner, but as an avid participant in all spirit days. He assisted the presidents with brain storming spirit days, and took it upon himself to go all out and encouraged others to do the same.

“He stood out, especially during homecoming week, with his school spirit and participation in dressing up,” Sophomore Student Council Member Audra Brabec said.

Student Council Sponsor Mrs. Schoenrock was thoroughly impressed with the work done by Nolan as well.

“Trenton has been a great addition to Student Council,” Schoenrock said. “He has impeccable vibes, a good sense of humor, and the maturity to commit to a task in order to get it done. We really appreciated his help decorating for Homecoming and look forward to working with him this year.”

Nolan’s hard work last week did not go unnoticed and he is deserving of being titled Wolf of the Week!
