Sophomore Sydney Stodden wants to be a physical therapist like her dad when she grows up. It is no surprise considering she is a multi-sport athlete and a hard worker in school.

Stodden participates in cross-country, basketball, and track.

“Track is my favorite by far. It’s super fun,” Stodden said. “I’ve been doing it since I was eight. Before high school, I ran for the West Omaha Track Club.”

After her freshman year season, it was clear that Stodden was born for track. She won second place in the state meet and also participated in the 4×800 and 4×400.

“My goal this year is to win state in the 400 this year. I also want to go to college for track,” Stodden said.

Beyond sports, Stodden likes playing piano and keeping up with her idol, trackstar Allyson Felix.
