Typically the president is announced on November 3rd. This year Joe Biden was officially elected president over Donald Trump on November 7th.

Almost 800 million people voted in the 2020 election which is almost five times the amount of people compared to the presidential election in 2016.

There was a lot of debate coming from this year. A lot has happened questioning both Trump and Biden and the US’s opinion on them is divided.

Donald Trump is the 45th President of the United States, serving in the positive from 2017 to 2020. Junior Brady Vaughn believes he is a good guy that has done a lot for all US citizens. Another Junior Oliver Kaminski said “He is kinda crazy and doesn’t really know the opinions of everyone. He is smart but is not a great leader.”

Joe Biden, as of now, will be the president from 2021 to 2024. “I don’t think he is a terrible guy but I also am not the biggest fan of him,” said Brady Vaughn when asked about Biden. Oliver Kaninski said “He is old and not my favorite person but I think he has good plans for the future.”

When asked about future vice president Kamala Harris, Brady Vaughn said “I do not like her. She laughed when she put a black man on death row and I think she stands for negative things. I definitely think her plan is to take over for Biden when he eventually dies, or as soon as possible.”

About Harris, Oliver Kaminski said, “It is cool she is a female and she takes on corona with science and thinks climate change is important which I agree with.”

Some US citizens have been asking the question: Was the 2020 Presidential election rigged?

“I definitely think some states the election was rigged with fake mail in ballots or sending in dead people’s ballots, “ said Brady Vaughn.

Oliver Kaminski said “There is probably some voter fraud but I don’t think it was widespread because there hasn’t been any solid evidence.”

Will there be a recount or reelection? No one knows. As of right now, Joe Biden will serve as the 46th President of the United States.
