Humans of Elkhorn North: Jade Noonan

By Kendall Backora, Reporter

To junior Jade Noonan, family is everything. After her parents’ divorce, she grew closer to her Mom than ever before. They bonded over things like baking, driving around to talk, and practicing softball.

“I look up to my mom for how hardworking and determined she is. She works from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. most nights and I could never do that,” Noonan said. “She helps me practice pitching and her encouragement is the reason I’m still playing softball today.”

Noonan plans to go to college somewhere close to her home and her family. She hopes to play softball as well as major in interior design.

“I love to organize and I have good attention to detail, so I figured interior design is a good fit for me,” Noonan said.

After college, her dream is to just be happy. Knowing Jade’s natural positivity, this is a dream she will surely achieve.
