It’s no secret that the 2027 Creighton volleyball commit, Reagan Wallraff, has some of the most impressive stats in Nebraska. According to MaxPreps, Wallraff is ranked number one in the state and 16th nationally, with 692 kills across the 2025 season. Her hitting average of .342 also leaves her with a national rank of 467.

On Nov. 7, 2025, The Elkhorn North volleyball team played against Skutt Catholic in the semifinals at the Class B state tournament. In this five set thriller, not only did the Wolves advance to the final round, junior Reagan Wallraff broke the record for most kills in a Class B state match. The previous record of 39, was upped by Wallraff’s 42.

“It’s incredibly special to see Reagan’s name next to that record,” head volleyball coach Jenny Gragert said. “Her performance reflects not only her individual talent and work ethic, but also the growth of our entire program.”

Wallraff’s effect on the team doesn’t only come from her statistics. Junior Kaitlyn Huff explains that Wallraff’s dynamic also impacted the team throughout this season.

“Reagan is very disciplined in everything she does,” Huff said. “It inspires others around her to do better as well and play at the highest level we possibly can.”

Elkhorn North finished out the season with a record of 30-7, and is ranked third in the state of Nebraska after the state tournament.

“Records like that don’t happen without great teammates, preparation, and trust in each other,” Gragert said. “It’s a proud moment for Reagan and for everyone who’s been a part of building this team.”
