Waverly is dismayed. They were down 1-5.

The Wolves get into a huddle after Waverly called a timeout. They had won a few points in a row and were feeling optimistic.

The Wolves sideline celebrates. Reagan Walraff (9) had won the point with a powerful kill.

Senior Shay Heaney passes the ball. Despite a good rally, the Wolves lost the point.

Junior Hayden Booth (6) and Sophomore Kaitlyn Huff (15) await Waverly’s serve. Both have been on varsity since their freshman year. Booth is the varsity team captain.

Freshman Payton Palmer (13) and Junior Hayden Booth (6) jump in an attempt to block the ball. Booth was able to get the block.

Junior Shay Heaney (4) and Senior Lindsey Hrbek (7) block the ball. Skutt was able to tip the ball, allowing Junior Hayden Booth (6) to get a successful pass.
